About Crystal

I have been working with the elderly and disabled for 12 years and I love what I do! I have a passion for helping people and it shows in my work. I have worked with the elderly and developmentally disabled with a wide range of disabilities. I can transfer using stand by, gait belt, slide board hoyer and Sara lift. I have experience in sun downing dementia/Alzheimer , developmental delays, down syndrome and more. My proudest moment was with a gentleman and his wife I worked with. He could not really do anything for himself due to a fall. With the help of physical therapy and our determination and dedication, by the time they moved he was walking and eating almost completely on his own! I love what I do and I get joy out of helping others which is why this field is so important to me.
