About Clarice

All of my experience comes from personal care of loved ones. I helped with the care of my mother, with tube feeding, bathing switching her body position so that she did not get bed sore, due to having a second severe stroke. I also learned to communicate with her via her hand movements and her one word statements due to the first stroke resisting her speech. I have also assisted my friend with the care of her mother with Alzheimer's. I started a senior program at the church I attend, taking the senior's out on adventures. I assisted my niece with the care of her mom(my sister) having brain cancer. I assisted my nephew with the care of his mother (my sister) prior to her going into hospice. I have a passion for seniors, they are often forgotten about. I use to volunteer for meals on wheels having to leave them alone after delivering the meals, especially during the holiday seasons. I am also a licensed foster care parent coming up on my 15 yr mark.
