My favorite part about working in this field is really getting to know the patient on a personal level. I really enjoy seeing them glow while telling me stories of their younger years and experiences. Speaking of experience; I have worked many different places including Hospitals, Pharmacy's, physical rehabilitation centers, Nursing Agencies, Private Care, I even worked with the Mentally Impaired for 7 years as a Teacher/instructor. I do have my CNA license, I am CPR certified, and I have additional training using hoyer lifts, working with trachs, foley bags, catheters Etc. Chelsea worked for my quadriplegic mother from June through August 2021. She was often 20-45 minutes late for her shifts, and towards the end of August there were several instances where she simply did not show up for work and did not even call out with a reason. I would be highly wary of hiring her for any role where she needs to be depended on to be timely and considerate, particularly for those with physical needs.
