About Caitlin

My name is Cait, I have been a nurse for 11 years. I have worked in cardiac, medsurg, psychiatric, doctors offices and currently work in home care in the Portland area. I moved to Maine about 2 years ago from Boston where I worked at MGH on a cardiac/medsurg floor. I am originally from NH. I have a chronic illness and as a kid was in and out of the hospital often, this is when I knew nursing was my calling. The nurses are what got me through my toughest times in and out of the hospital. I love being that for other people now, I love knowing what makes people tick, what will keep them out of the hospital, I love comforting people and keeping them safe. I think nursing looks at every aspect of a person and consists of caring for people as a whole, it's not just about the physical care but the mental and emotional as well! I am also fully vaccinated for COVID and do get the flu shot every year.
