I have personally dealt with having to travel a far distance to stay with my grandfather and his younger sister, to help care for them. My great aunt has now passed, and we just moved my grandfather, with early stages of dementia here. The family I currently work for has an elderly on hospice care I help take care of as well as 3 kids. I have dealt with elderly people who's minds are going and ones who just want company and some help.
