About Briana

Hello! My name is Briana. I am a kind-hearted advocate for and friend of the senior population, with a particular knack for dementia and stroke victims. I started caregiving with Home Instead while earning my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This is a fancy name for learning how to work with and help those dealing with cognitive and communicative issues as a result of degenerative disease and acquired injuries. I soon understood my passion would take me into an administrative role, as my goal is to someday open an adult care home for dementia. I began this avenue by pursuing my master's in Healthcare Administration while working as an activity director at a memory care community. I am now wanting to take a step back and spend more time taking care of those with dementia, to better understand how to serve this community when my time to open a business comes. As a caregiver, I believe in purpose, laughter, love and reassurance.
