Hello, I truly enjoy helping people with caregiving. It's an honor and a privilege for me to care for those in need. I believe preserving a person's dignity in their time of need is extremely important. I'm a retired counselor and easily care for the emotional needs of my clients as well as their physical needs. I'm experienced with hospice, extended illnesses, dementia, respite care and disabilities. I can provide companionship, overnight caregiving, help with bathing and dressing, transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, mobility and personal assistance. I can provide live-in caregiving. I can work in various areas as a travel caregiver with temporary housing, until my position has completed. I'm respectful, warm-hearted, compassionate and patient. I'm dependable, punctual and my transportation is AWD and reliable. I need a non-smoking environment. I'm available for interviews and I have excellent references available. I'm very grateful for Brenda's knowledge and professionalism. I wasn't feeling my best, yet Brenda took the time to answer all my many questions. She arrived early to make sure to be prompt. I've had such a difficult time finding anyone in my area who will be on time, and using a safe vehicle. That alone started the day off very well. Her relaxed and kind spirit had an immediate calming effect on what would have otherwise been a stressful medical appt. I must say it turned out to be a fun day. Due to my health distress, my other goal was to find someone who truly didn't use synthetic chemicals or smoke. Attending a future health test already stressed with chemical exposure would possibly affect the result of my test, so this search was completely worth the time. I'm looking forward to working with Brenda again and plan to schedule far in advance the appointments that can be more flexible. Fortunately, she was able to assist me in this particular appointment with shorter notice.
