About Breanna

I currently work at Yakima Valley Schools and I take care of people who have disabilities. In my cottage (unit), we have a mixture of heavy care and independent residents that reside in the cottage. I primarily work night shift and with that comes a lot of cleaning, restocking their attends, peach pads, clothes, wash cloths. I sweep, mop, get vitals signs (beginning of the shift) and depending on the day either do bath boxes or clean wheelchairs. We also do morning care for certain residents. I am more than proficient with using a Hoyer and gate belt . We are here to ensure the safety of our residents and being able to guide them to do their Adls. Sometimes my residents can have behaviors, so I have been trained to assist the situation and make sure my residents are okay and most importantly safe! When any of our residents are up, I assist them with anything needs they have. Depending what shift I am doing, I can help assist my residents with feeding, showering, dressing, walks etc
