Very dedicated and experienced caregiver and senior companion. I have quite a bit of experience working with all stages of Alzheimer's. I also frequently work with families seeking social interaction and connection for their loved one and the request is to 'get them out'. I might be asked to be an escort to an event, gym, yoga, church with my Alzheimer patient. My experience has been both in a home setting and working with private patients in assisted living facilities. Enjoy helping the elderly patients with ADL's activities, errands, reading out loud, board games, scrapbook activities and appointments, meals and personal care. Able to work independently and to maintain safety standards. Experienced household manager shopping, meal preparation, laundry. An exceptional companion "friend" for an elderly person. I might do a live-in for $240 for a 24hr shift plus expenses with at least 8hrs sleep time.
