I have been a lifelong caregiver. I was a licensed CNA for over 30 years. I am thorough, professional and very dependable. I have worked in hospitals and nursing homes but primarily have done private care. My last job was with the state of Illinois and prior to that I was a home health aide in Livingston County. I am in good standing with the Illinois Dept. of Public Health. I enjoy cooking. Laundry, light housekeeping and errands are also tasks I am glad to do. I have reliable transportation to get to appointments and I live in Ottawa. Please feel free to contact me if I may be able to help you. I have great references and a resume I can provide for you. Although, the scheduler on this app does not allow me to show it I am available for overnights also. especially, Monday Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Barbara was a care taker for my brother who had multiple needs. She handled his medicine, medical appts, house cleaning, laundry, meals and most importantly companionship. She went way above and beyond with a smile on her face and compassion. Was always in communication with me and kept me in the loop as to what was going on. I would HIGHLY recommend her to care for someone you love because you will have no worries on the care they will receive. I'm grateful we picked her and in the time that she was with my brother in his last months, I know he had happy moments with her being there. Thank you for being a wonderful caretaker!
