Hi. I'm a seasoned caregiver with over 20 years of experience in all levels of care. I have been a live-in caregiver for 6 years total and adapt well to other environments. I'm also a former recreational therapy specialist who ran my own activities department in a nursing home for 5 years. I've done personal care, ROM (range of motion) therapy, hospice care and dementia care. I'm also a direct support professional who helps autistic clients. I've worked with clients who have difficulties with ambulation so I am able to do transfers very well. I'm a passionate advocate for the elderly and adults with disabilities. From my experiences I see that people thrive better in their own homes and assist in anyway possible to have them remain there.
