Dear Family, At this time of need it is not easy to entrust your loved one's care into stranger's hands. I have been there with my husband's family here and my own family in Europe. I am sorry, you are in this situation. You and your loved one are in need of extra love, care, and prayers. I was raised by the parents that fostered great love in me for my grandparents. That's where love for elderly grew in my heart at truly young age. At that time I became a wear that our elderly are not sad, uninteresting, boring, want to be left alone people. They wanted to be engaged, included, respected, dealt with respect and dignity. Given a chance, they had stories that history books not have filled with. As life brought me to College in Abilene, TX, I took jobs of caring for seniors in the summer. Mostly for the night shift as my third job. As an adult I volunteered countless times at nursing homes. As I am looking for change in my life, I hope, I can be a peace of mind for your family.
