About Audrey

Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years paid experience caring for people of all ages. This includes personal care work, respite care, care management, dementia care, & psychotherapy - primarily in health care settings and their homes, serving older adults and those with dementia, mental health needs, intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, & chronic health conditions. I worked as a dementia care specialist training caregivers & professionals about dementia-specific approaches to trial, communication strategies, & de-escalation techniques. It can be challenging to meet this caregiving need in the home & I look forward to engaging with more families in this setting. I have comfort with personal care, meal prep, housekeeping, errands, transportation, community outings, accompaniment to appointments, companion care, check-ins, documentation, dementia care, communication barriers.
