About Ashley

Patient, respectful, positive mother of four looking for rewarding part time caregiving opportunity that is mutually beneficial. Willing to take classes to educate myself in different specialties. I had been a foster mom for 7 years with experience working with difficult kiddos and their bio families. I have also managed a small business for nearly 10 years before covid hit. My grandparents in their 80's live in our guest house and are the reason for my interest in caregiving. I help my grandparents with setting up medication, scheduling appointments, grocery shopping, cleaning, but most importantly companionship. Thier quality of life and health in general has improved tremendously since moving in next door 2 years ago. Ideally I'd be looking for something earlier in the day part time. Open to occasional evenings and/or weekend days but generally not on a regular basis. I'd prefer a family-like environment open to real care and relationships, not just a "job".
