About Arlene

My name is Arlene. I went from having my own Day Care to taking care of the elderly and disabled. My father had a Pontine Hemorrhage. I did his physical and speech and occupational therapy. Teaching him all over again, I guess you can say being with children helped. I had to teach him all over again. I know how to do the feeding tube too. I have taken care of breast cancer patients and people on oxygen. I have been doing this for 11 years now. I find it so rewarding especially when you see the accomplishments people make and the happy look on their face. This to me makes me so happy. When I see all my dad can do now I know I made a difference in his life I would not give up. They told us he would never feel or eat again. He did with hours of work every day. I treat my clients as if they are my family. I also am a companion, house cleaner and I do errands. I know how to do lifting transferring the hoyer. You name it or teach me I can do it.
