About Annmarie

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Annmarie and I was born in New York and raised in Ireland and currently live in Floral Park and have done so for over 20 years. I cared for and nurtured a cancer patient from diagnosis to remission. I accompanied patient to hospital and doctor appointments. I monitored and administered medications orally and by injections and eye drops. I cooked and served a restricted diet. I cooked, cleaned, ran errands. I provided companionship, friendship and support during a very difficult time. Currently, I am providing companionship and general help to an elderly lady. I assist in dressing, bathing, bathroom and getting around physically. I can also do light cleaning and cooking, shopping, running errands. I monitor and maintain medications orally and through eye drops. More importantly, I am providing a sense of security, safety and comfort to a patient who has had a long full life.
