About Angelina

As the oldest of my siblings, caregiving has always been part of my day-to-day. I had the wonderful opportunity during the pandemic to look after talented kids in a Sailing Pod program at Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club. It was a full-time job, where I, alone, looked after about 10 kids with my youngest being 7 during their virtual classroom hours. I offered a clean and safe environment, and offered my help with anything they had questions for or even if they just needed clarification. Even at times I would go out in my own dingy for extra help to look after them in the water while they sailed. I also worked as behavioral technician, a health professional, where I was responsible for assisting special needs clients with day-to-day activities, monitoring their progress and communicating any issues or concerns that may come up.
