My Mother used to take my sister and I to visit our nearest nursing home when we were kids, because she explained that many older people have families who are too busy or do not live nearby to visit. My Mother has also spent the past 30 years providing private companion care to elderly people in New York and Palm Beach, she has taught me everything about being compassionate and caring and to help whenever I can. It was in helping my Mother to find a new position on Care. com that I felt motivated by the ads I was reading and wished I could help seniors in my own area here in Colorado. Now that I have returned to online law school full-time I am making my own schedule and I can spare time during the week to assist with errands, transportation to appointments and activities, housekeeping, meal preparations, companionship and generally to be available in case of emergency. I drive a 2023 Porsche Macan that is very easy to get in and out of and rides smoothly.
