About me (I go by Jessamy): I am 53, a mother to an adult daughter, massage therapist, gardener, artist, nature lover, choir member, compassionate listener, foodie, herbalist, and animal lover. My base compensation for care and companionship is $28/hour, negotiable depending on what is needed. I currently work with an adult woman with a TBI, and also have experience caring for elderly persons with memory issues. I also offer end-of-life/hospice massage/therapeutic touch (I've been a licensed professional massage therapist since 1993), compensation starts at $50 per 45 minute session, depending on location. Therapeutic touch can be a wonderfully healing addition to end-of-life care, providing much-needed comfort, calm and compassionate touch, healing energy, and ease during what can be a time of fear, pain, discomfort and confusion.
