About Amanda

I have experience working with special needs adults, accident recovery, medically fragile adults due to health reasons. I hold current CPR and CPI certifications, and consider myself medically knowledgeable however I am not a nurse. Most of my experience came from the care of both of my medically fragile parents one who is on oxygen the other who fell and broke his neck. My husband also is an aortic dissection survivor who had a stroke and a heart attack at the same time was medically in a coma for over 34 days and in the hospital for 64 days during covid. I worked with special needs adults I worked on everyday living skills how to make daily and weekly meals lighthouse keeping and accompanying them to their job site. It's important to keep the mind and body stimulated healthy and happy by having activities to do and providing warmth and companionship.
