About Alisha

I love talking to and getting to know elderly people. It makes my heart happy to be able to just listen to them tell me things from their own experiences in life. I have a passion for older people. I did have a CNA license in Arkansas years ago and worked in a few different nursing facilities and found out that I hated the environment. No matter the facility we were always short handed. I did not like being made to rush them up for meals and then rush them back to their rooms with being short handed for an example. The last facility I worked for I met a lady that was there for rehab on her knees. We became great friends and she knew I hated working in facilities. She asked me to come work for her in her home after she was done with physical therapy. I worked for her for about 2 years before moving back to Louisiana to be closer to some family at the time. While there I became an in home care taker for a family friend for about a year and a half. I have since been a stay at home Mom.
