About Alexis

My grandmother became very ill with Alzheimer's disease and I spent a lot of time taking care of her. It was a heartbreaking experience, but we still managed to have a lot of fun together. I believe that seniors should be able to have fun in arguably their hardest times and be treated with the upmost respect and dignity. I want to go home at the end of the day knowing that I did something good in this world. I don't just want a "job", I want something that fills the soul. For the past year, I privately cared for a mother and went on to work for her assisted living facility as a caregiver. I have proficient experience with mobility assistance and memory care. I am also certified in basic life support for healthcare workers with the American Red Cross and American Heart Association. Additionally, I am a student at Stephen F. Austin's Dewitt and Lucille's School of Nursing. At this time, I am only accepting on-demand jobs such as showering or covering shifts. I hope to hear from you!
