About Olivia

I will be a senior at the University of St. Thomas and have previously worked through college as a Red Cross certified nurse aid at an assisted living facility. I worked in memory care and hospice care and it was a hard job but I really do enjoy providing care and comfort for others. I also have about 200 hours volunteering at a Same Day Surgery center through Regions Hospital helping nurses care for patients as they come out of different surgeries. My family has also been fostering all types of animals for about 7 years now through the Protecting Paw rescue. I've cared for all types of dogs from puppies to much older dogs that need a lot of care and medical attention. Although dogs are probably my favorite, I've also enjoyed caring for birds, fish, and cats- in fact I have a 6-month-old kitty right now!
