When going on vacation the most stressful part is probably leaving your pets (fur babies) and home in the care of someone else. I know it was for us. Our most recent family vacation led us to seek out a house/pet sitter. We have a variety of animals to care for, and needed someone with experience. However, entrusting someone with something so important and personal to us was a challenge. Care.com was a bridge connecting us to Leslie. From the first time we corresponded with her, our minds were at ease. She was eager to provide us with her references and was more than willing to come to our house prior to us leaving, to meet all of us in person. Our initial introduction was via video call and then a week before us leaving she came over and met all of our animals and see the house. Leslie is so warm and calm, the animals were immediately as comfortable with her as we were. Even our shyest anxious dog went right over to her. This was quite an endorsement! She asked lots of questions and made sure she had a good lay of the land. As we headed off we felt like our pets and house was in good hands. Leslie kept us informed every day we were gone and set our minds at ease. This meant we were able to completely relax and enjoy our vacation. By the time we got home all of the animals were completely in love with Leslie, and we came home to a clean and happy household! We will definitely be requesting Leslie for our next vacation!
