I provide enriching, playful, comfortable, and safe care for cats, help them adjust to special diets, manage "problem" behaviors, and give medications and other treatments (e. g., sub-Q fluids) if needed. I develop trusting relationships with cats based on consistency, love, compassion, respect, honesty, and lots of patience. I enjoy getting to know every cat and I take time to assess their personalities so that we get acquainted on their terms. I have great respect for all animals and consider them highly intelligent beings. Your cat deserves the best care possible. I received my MS and Ph. D. in Psychology (Animal Learning & Behavior) and use positive reinforcement to make med/treatment delivery easier and less stressful. I look forward to hearing from you.

Laurel is simply the best pet sitter I've come across and I feel so blessed to have found her! She is so organized, dependable and trustworthy. She took time to bond with my conure, Georgia, and went out of her way to bring fresh snap peas and extra broccoli for her. She interacted so well with Georgia, played music for her and sent me updates with pictures daily. She also picked up my mail and watered my plants. Laurel put my mind completely at ease and I plan on calling on her for all our future trips!
