About Kelly

Hello! My name is Kelly and I would love to help care for furry friends. I have a degree in Child Development and Psychology and my most recent job was teaching ESL to adults and Spanish to children. I have 8 years experience working as a veterinary assistant and can administer any medication to dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals including insulin. I have a 9lbs. licensed therapy dog named Waffles who I trained on my own who passed the Canine Good Citizen exam and does well with all kids and adults. He and I have worked for 7 years helping people with various disabilities, both mental and physical. I have 6 years experience in training other dogs and have trained under a licensed professional. I also first started volunteering with animal rescues when I was 5 years old and have continued doing so everywhere I have lived ever since. I worked as a professional tutor employed by my university Football team in Spanish, French and English among others. Any and all questions are welcome!
