Hello and welcome! Growing up, my family always had a lot of pets and I ended up caring for most of them, so I'm very comfortable and experienced taking care of all kinds of animals. I've got 21 years of experience taking care of rabbits, 22 years of experience taking care of cats, and 24 years of experience taking care dogs (large and small). I've also pet-sit gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, ducks, and fish. Furthermore, I have 3 years of experience as volunteer at humane societies (Great Plains SPCA & Champaign County Humane Society), as both a cat socializer and kennel cleaner. I care a lot about animals, so I'll always make sure your pet receives the best care and love while I'm responsible for them. I'm also vaccinated and happy to wear a mask while pet-sitting if that's a concern. The only pet I'm truly uncomfortable around is snakes, because I have a fear of them. (So please no snakes!)

Katie has watched my pets twice now and I couldn't be happier with the care that she provides! I have 3 senior cats and 3 senior gerbils. Since they are older, some of them require different care than the others. I get anxious leaving my pets behind, but Katie has been nothing but accommodating to my pets' individual needs and sends me updates regularly. If I forget to mention something to her before I Leave, she answers promptly and is able to make sure the need of the pet is met. It means the world to me that I know they are being well taken care of by someone who really cares about their well being. While I miss them, I don't have to worry about if they are being taken care of properly. I will definitely be requesting Katie to take care of my pets again when future travels come up. My pets have really warmed up to her, too! Couldn't be happier with her service.
