Really thought I wrote this a long time ago. Seeing that I did not I did not want to miss the opportunity to help somebody out by giving them a heads up. We have a large home in Roswell. We interviewed Liz and we hired her for weekly cleaning. Initially Liz is likable and seems motivated. Within a few short weeks things unraveled.Liz became erradic and saying communication dropped off is putting it lightly. The best example would be that they were expected on their normal day of the week. They're usual time came and went and nobody showed. I tried calling the number for Liz and also the number of the person who is her second. Liz didn't answer. The second did. She told me that they were on their way.Late because they had gone to a funeral.I gave them my sympathies and told them it was no problem at all. In fact if they would rather schedule for another day that would be fine.She said I could count on seeing them in the next 30 minutes. Nothing happened. After about an hour I called again to make sure everything was okay. Nobody answered I left a voicemail expressing concern. Nobody ever showed. Never got a call.The next day we received a pseudo-professional email from Liz snarkily telling us that we had been fired from her company for reasons she did not specify. Unfortunately leaving us and our terminally ill child high and dry. It was bizarre. It was disappointing. However I think we may have dodged a bullet for long-term drama. Who needs that?
