I'd describe myself as perceptive, patient, thorough. I like working with animals because I have great compassion for them, especially pets. They selflessly provide joy for their humans while also being helplessly dependent on them. In return, I want to make animals feel loved and appreciated. And of course, I like being with animals because they're often a lot of fun to be around. I'm looking for a job that will keep me busy and earn me some extra money since I'm currently semi-retired. I started working with animals when I was 8 years old and got a beagle. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my wife and adult daughters, travel, hike, and watch movies and tv. One thing you should know about me is I'm a problem-solver. That skill has served me well while taking care of our own two dogs and generally maintaining our home. My skills include empathy, paying close attention to the animal's body language & behavior, and being generous with playtime & affection.
