I am writing a letter of reference for Corrinna S. I have known Cori for many years as a neighbor, a niece, and a friend. She is probably the most reliable, dependable, and responsible young woman I have ever known. She has worked for us on many occasions as a house sitter and a pet sitter. On all occasions, every appointed task has been carried out to the letter. We feel extremely lucky to have her watching over our home and our pets. Cori is also one of the hardest working individuals we have met. She carries a full-time job with responsibilities of opening up and closing down as well as training some of the new hires. I have personally observed her working with difficult clients. She is always poised and respectful and has a special knack of putting people at ease, no matter how difficult the situation. She attends work daily, even when there are snowstorms or she is not feeling well. On one occasion during a storm, her car broke down. Rather than call in, she borrowed a car to get to work because there were clients scheduled who she didn't want to let down. Cori also attends school, taking one to three classes a semester. She has worked especially hard on her EMT certification. She has dreamed of a career in the health field, set her goal, and has worked ceaselessly to attain it. Cori has our support and our respect for her organizational skills and her coolness and judgment, especially in an emergency, such as when people or pets have become ill unexpectedly. She is a good listener and empathetic to people who are in emotional crisis. She has many friends who seek her out for comfort and advice. I wholeheartedly recommend Cori for any position for which she applies. She would make an outstanding, hard-working, and very responsible member of your team!
