About Brece

Hi there, my name is Brece, and I am an experienced animal caretaker with over 20 years of experience. My career started in the equestrian industry, where I worked as a professional horse trainer for many years. My passion for animals then led me to pursue a degree in wildlife biology from GVSU. After graduating, I worked as a zookeeper at Binder Park Zoo, where I was fortunate enough to work with a variety of exotic animals. I then spent 3 years in an animal shelter as a humane rescue officer where I rescued injured, abused, abandoned and neglected domestic animals. I am also trained as a wildlife rehabilitator and continue to assist several local wildlife organizations. Lastly, for the past 6 years I have served as the Assistant Manager at SASHA Farm Animal Sanctuary. All that is to say, I know and love animals. I look forward to meeting and serving you and all your companion animals!
