April helped care for my mother, and while she was with her, April kept her engaged. They played card games, and there was a lot of laughter. April also drew my mom out... both asking questions and actively listening as Mom shared her stories. She prepared meals for my mom, and she also helped her get ready for bed. She always treated my mom with compassion and respect.
