About Andrea

My name is Andrea (age 55). My experience is in childcare, senior companion care, and pet care. I've been a stay home mom for many years & I'm an empty nester now. I raised 2 now grown daughters. I have a son who is 18 in private school.. straight A's. I spent 7 yrs homeschooling him K thru 6th grade & being involved in the busy northern VA homeschooling community. Before having my own family I got nanny experience in my younger years. I've taught ukulele kids club & taught "mommy & me" music classes. I have experience as an elderly companion caregiver and with my own aging parents & grandparents. I've volunteered at nursing homes doing crafts & music. I have experience with alzheimers, dementia and cancer patients. As for pet care.. I've had cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds big & small. I've had everything from litters of puppies to some aging and sick so I do feel comfortable helping any of them. Would love to hear from you to see if I can meet your needs.
