For the past seven years, I have been a dog-walker for a company that serves the people of Short Hills, Milburn, and Maplewood. I went to each dog owner's house and spent about 30 minutes with their dogs to walk, feed and water, and play with them each day. I also documented each dog-walking session with notes for the client at the end of each session. When first meeting a new dog, I made sure to have a consult with the family to meet the dog and discuss any requirements, to ensure that the dog feels comfortable with me before taking him or her out. I have walked several breeds of dogs, from greyhounds and golden retrievers to Maltese and shih tzus. You name it, I've walked it! I have walked multiple dogs at once when needed, but I am happy to ensure walking individual dogs by themselves. Recently, I moved away and can no longer travel to Short Hills, which is why I'm looking to find work in Verona. I am eager to keep walking dogs because I am a huge dog-lover and I would like to keep spending my days with them!
