About Alexa

Hi, my name is Alexa, I am currently a student at Stony Brook University studying Earth and Space Sciences on the Education Track. I am looking forward to becoming a teacher so I can make school fun and leave a lasting positive and impactful impression on my students. Currently, I also work at an assisted living community serving meals in the dining room and I have also assisted the elderly with many activities including crafts. I have child care experience from babysitting and taking care of my younger brothers throughout my life while my parents work. As well as doing the same for other family members and watching their children. I am very comfortable with animals and pets of any kind. I have had dogs my whole life and I am very loving towards all animals. I walk my dog, Ziggy, as often as I can. I believe it is important to keep animals and people active for a good and healthy life. In my free time, I love to go on hikes or other outdoorsy adventures and I love to do crafts!
