About Abigail

Hi, I m Abigail! I recently finished my Master's program and am supporting myself as I wait to apply to PhD programs next fall. I have always loved animals, and have lived with dogs in my house since I was 8 years old. I have two goldendoodles at home in NY, who I was heavily involved with caring for and training. I have lots of experience with grooming, bathing, walking, playing, feeding, administering medications, and general animal care (especially with high energy pups!) I have also had experience as a pet-sitter, while watching my dogs when my parents are out of town as well as caring for friends cats while they are out of town. I am comfortable with animals of all kinds and sizes, and my career in marine biology has allowed me to gain some valuable experience in veterinary medicine practices and procedures. I have a car and am happy to take pets around for walks or playtime, and am very responsible when it comes to feeding and training!
