Through a mutual friend, I have known Laurie for more than 10 years. When I needed to move quickly from a rented condo unit in December 2012 to one I acquired, the vacated unit was not in the best of shape and I hired Laurie to get it clean in a hurry before the lease term ended. She did the job, with little direction, and not a peep from the landlord after she was done. Great work at a reasonable price with little notice. After that, it was clear I needed help on an ongoing basis and she has been coming to my new condo unit pretty much on a weekly basis, unless we have made other arrangements (I was out of town for 2 weeks and we suspended service). She has a key to my unit; there are routine tasks to perform and I leave a note if there are any special tasks. I come home; the door is locked and when I enter, the unit just smells clean. No complaints on my end whatsoever - only my unreserved, wholehearted recommendation. She also paints - both my bathrooms and the kitchen. Again, I can recommend her without any reservations - reliable, trustworthy, no wasted time, and she does excellent work. We communicate by text, email, and written notes, and only occasionally by telephone. All my relationships should be so efficient and uncomplicated.
