Janette came to our family for a temporary assignment and I wished she never had to leave! She took initiative on everything: dinner prep and planning, meals, light housekeeping, fun kid activities, and random acts of kindness. For example, when she ran out of things to do that has been asked of her she would tidy up a cabinet or drawer, run to the store when she saw we were out of something, or even plant flowers for me! Our kids 16, 14, 12 loved her as she would sit and talk with them, play, be open to picking up a friend, whatever. When plans pivoted on a dime, it was never an issue. She is a good person who provided a very good influence foe our kids when my husband I couldn't be around, and she made my day everyday with the amount of helpful (never dreamed of asking for) initiatives she would tackle. When she and her husband decided to relocate we were happy for them but very sad to lose such a wonderful presence in our home!
