About Elena

We were lucky to have found Elena to do weekend babysitting for my son when he was 10 months old. We continued hiring Elena several times over the course of next year while my husband and I took day trips to NYC and we only parted because Elena moved. We could immediately see that Elena has a great rapport with babies and my son quickly started showing her his toys and books (the fact that Elena is a native speaker of Russian was a huge bonus for us since she could read to him in both languages). They went outside together, played in the house, Elena prepped him for the nap and gave him lunch and snack - all without any issues. I was truly amazed at her level of energy and commitment every time (she was able to clean the house while my son napped). Elena was always on time, she was very responsive and provided clear communication about the events of the day. You can see that Elena just genuinely loves children and enjoys interacting with them, and that makes a big difference!
