I worked as as a housekeeper/personal assistant for a terrific family for 17 years until the children left home and the family downsized their living situation. Everyday was a little different and the job was mostly having the right attitude. They just wanted things to run smoothly and I was there to make that happen. Duties included cleaning, caring for laundry and bedding, making the house visitor ready at any moment, party assistance, meal prep, flower arranging, errands, transporting children, coordinating repairs with vendors, organization of entire household, deep cleaning when the family was away and light office work. After that, I drove school bus for two years. As a result, I have had extensive background checks and child abuse clearance. Then I was employed by a hospitality company doing cold food prep and catering events. Currently, I'm again caring for a private household. In my free time I like to take walks with my dog and watch a good movie with my husband of 32 years.
