I recently had an unsettling experience with Angela, hired through Care.com. Despite confirming the appointment, the person arrived at my residence, only to stay outside. When I noticed and opened the door, they abruptly left without any interaction. Shortly after, they contacted me, promising to return, but again, they only parked in front of my house, observed me from their vehicle, and left. Subsequent attempts to reach them were met with silence as they did not answer my calls. This behavior was not only disrespectful but also made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism, especially when seeking assistance through a platform that I trusted. I hope my experience serves as a caution to others and prompts a review of vetting processes to ensure the reliability and professionalism of service providers listed on Care.com.
