About Zaira

Hello, my name is Zaira and I am a reliable, energetic, and creative 27 years old. I recently worked as a behavioral health counselor for the past 3 years and currently taking a break to focus on next steps towards a career in Social Work. I have 5 years of experience as a youth counselor working with youth in elementary, middle school, and pre-school settings during the academic and summer seasons. As a youth counselor, I developed and carried out fun, interactive activities for the kids to encourage play, creativity, and teamwork. I have also worked as a behavioral technician with children ages 3 - 12 on the Autism Spectrum under the supervision of a Behavioral Analyst. We focused on improving social engagement, communication, and learning skills through activities that brought joy to the kids. When I am off work, I enjoy spending my time with my loved ones, being outdoors, and cooking. The chance to offer more insight into my qualifications would be most welcome. Thank you!
