This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 10 yrs
I've been a full-time nanny specializing in working with multiples for the past 12 years. In my 12 years, I've potty trained 10 kids, taught 5 kids to swim, made homemade baby food, juggled 3 infants happily, taught baby sign language, washed cloth diapers, and traveled internationally with 3 under 3. I have worked with children on speech and physical therapy. I can assist with laundry, dishes, activities and errands. I love Montessori methods and because of that I believe in speaking to children in an encouraging manner that will help foster confidence. I'm an organized and well-mannered caregiver who likes to keep a schedule and maintain consistency with the family. On my own time I like to craft, travel, cook and home reno projects. I'm open to monthly/ quarterly sit down to discuss the progress being made and any upcoming goals. I hope to hear from you soon! -Ginny has

I am writing to recommend Virginia (Ginny) as a nanny. She has exceeded every expectation we had and performed with consistent excellence throughout her tenure with our household. Ginny has been working for our family for three years, starting when our twins were infants (4 months old) and our oldest had just turned 2. She has become a beloved and trusted member of our family. Ginny is responsible, dependable and extremely loving and nurturing with the children she works with. Not only does she administer standard care (reading, feeding, nap time, etc.), but she is a teacher with an extraordinary ability to relate and bond with her children. Our children absolutely adore her and have learned manners, respect and social skills from Ginny's expert tutelage. Not only that, but Ginny consistently goes above and beyond whether helping one of our twins with physical and speech therapy to administering with sick children to working late and early hours with short notice, Ginny delivers an extra level of care and service every time. Ginny has excelled in all aspects of her job, including: - Supervising children and caring for their needs. - Planning, preparing and serving meals for children. - Bathing, dressing and feeding infants and children. - Preparing formulas and changing diapers. - Performing housekeeping duties. - Teaching and disciplinary duties. - Potty-training and other training (i.e., learning to get dressed, transition from bottles, etc.) - Detailed communication with parents in regards to children's activities, progress, etc. On top of the strengths I have already detailed, I must say that an extra bonus is Ginny's personality. She is extremely friendly and easy to work with. At the same time she exudes confidence and pride in her work. She has become a true member of our family, working with us for over three years in both North Carolina and most recently San Francisco. Unfortunately, our move out west to the San Francisco Bay Area has led to us not being able to retain Ginny as a nanny for our family. We feel as though we are losing a family member and I am absolutely certain our loss will be another family's immense gain. In summary, I am extremely happy and honored to give Ginny my highest recommendation as a nanny, and would be more than happy to discuss her capabilities, answer questions about her performance, and provide any additional details needed.
