I have studied and was raised by a blend of Waldorf/Reggio Emilia/Forest School/Responsive Classroom methodologies, which have all informed my role as a caregiver. During my tenure as a childcare provider, I've been a full-time live-in nanny, co-run a home daycare, taught at a Montessori school as well as various other children's workshops and camps. References and resume readily available. I truly love working with kids, and as a mother myself, I know how important it is to find the best childcare professional for our children. My caregiving style is focused on fostering connection and collaboration so that children feel truly known, valued, and motivated to learn and grow. I am passionate about instilling these values in my own 4-year-old daughter. I am a single mother, so my daughter may have to come to work with me some days.

I have two girls, ages 12 and 6, and my husband and I both work full-time. As such, we have always relied on babysitters to help us care for the girls, negotiating the after school hours - homework, driving them to activities, etc. Vicky has been the absolute best, and has done that and so much more. With the unpredictability of school hours this year, she always stepped up to help. She was patient with my schedule changes, communicates openly and quickly and was always reliable and on time. In addition, she is simply amazing with the kids, and both of my girls adore her. They are always doing projects, going on outings, playing at the beach or park. Vicky takes the initiative to plan the time, factoring in their scheduled activities, and does everything with a smile and warm attitude. I trust Vicky implicitly, and I recommend her wholeheartedly. She is simply the best, and you would be lucky to have her working with your family.
