About Taysha

Hi! I have been taking care of children ever since I was old enough to take the American Red Cross Babysitting class and become a Certified Babysitter. Now that I'm an adult, I still love taking care of children. They are so much fun to help to learn and I love watching them grow and develop. I spent 1 year interning with Elementary school children before graduating with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Mental Health. Since graduation, I spent 2 years working as an ABA Therapist for special needs children between the ages of 3 and 6 years old, who were both verbal and nonverbal with varying degrees of Autism. Now, my hope is to find one special family to Nanny for long term but in the meantime, I am open to short term or one time assignments. I love the outdoors, love sensory tables and crafts, and enjoy having a more scheduled type of day. I've taught many kids how to ride their bike, count, or even just communicate & that is something that will stick with them forever.
