I am a 3rd grade teacher at McKinley Elementary School in Westfield, NJ. I have had experience babysitting children and family members within the past few years. I am very responsible, respectful, and like to have fun. I graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have had experience with children not only with babysitting, but inside the classroom. I had many field experiences which took place in preschool classrooms as well as experiences in second grade. I student taught in a second grade classroom and was a part of the Year Long Program at West Chester. Being in this program meant that I would be in the same second grade classroom for my Reading Practicum field and my student teaching experience. This was an amazing opportunity for me and I learned so much while developing irreplaceable relationships with every student in the classroom. I adore working with children of all ages!

I am writing this reference for Taylor. I cannot say enough positive things about Taylor and what she has meant to my children and the entire family. Her overall demeanor is perfectly balanced by her sense of dedication. Taylor is a patient, diligent and very intelligent college student at a University in Pennsylvania. As a mother and educator I am very comfortable and confident to have Taylor watch over my children for extended periods of time. It is comforting to know they will be well cared for. Her diligent manor and friendly personality has an overall inviting appeal to young children. I am also very impressed by her ability to be detailed- oriented. My youngest child suffers from a chronic genetic disease. He is required to take numerous medications daily. While he is in Taylor's care she makes sure nothing is over looked and everything is taken and completed according to an specific schedule. I highly recommend Taylor for any position associated with care.com.
