About Sydney

Hi, my name is Sydney! I have always had a passion for childcare and am currently pursuing a degree in elementary education at UMass Amherst. Working with kids is something I find so much joy in. I have experience as both a babysitter and para-educator in the Tolland Public School system. I have previously worked with children aged 3-10, but I am more than willing to be with children of all ages! Generally, I would describe myself as a friendly, thoughtful, and fun person. I love to connect with others and create environments where everyone feels comfortable and can have fun! Being an older sibling, I have been watching/caring for my brother since I was 12. Beyond this family experience, I worked as a preschool assistant in my high school. I am a very responsible and reliable worker. I take pride in keeping tidy and creating meaningful play experiences for the kids I work with. I truly value working with families and would love the opportunity to support yours this summer!
