About Susan

Susan came to us highly recommended, and she did not disappoint, having supported our family for almost four years now. Susan is caring, capable, and kind. She can handle organizing, scheduling, and she runs a mean play date. Any day-to-day responsibility you can think of, Susan can handle it. She’s particularly good at putting together systems that are time-savers for Mom. You will never need to worry about laundry, baby dish storage, or stray toys with Susan on the case. Susan makes our lives run smoothly in countless ways. She’s done everything from preparing kid meals, to doing the school run. Susan cares for our daughter like she’s a member of her own family, and our daughter adores her for it. Susan is an adult. She’s raised her own children and we can feel that when she’s with our child. We are never, ever worried about our daughter being out in the world with Susan. Susan’s an excellent playmate and teacher. She’s not the type of caregiver who scrolls through her phone at the park. She reads daily, plays phonic games, and consistently works with our daughter on age-appropriate word recognition. Susan is also actively engaged in our daughter’s social and physical development. The quiet kid who could not climb a jungle gym, is now a certified park rat who willingly shares her sand toys with others. Our daughter has flourished under Susan’s care, and we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have had her in our lives. Our move out of town is the only reason we’re parting ways. We’re incredibly sad to see her go – but smile just a little when we think about what a great caregiver some lucky, sweet baby is about to get.
