About Sue

I'd describe my personality as kind, encouraging and accepting. I like working with kids since it gives me the opportunity to know and encourage each individual's growth. I'm looking for a job that has flexible hours. I have worked with kids since high school. I have 2 adult children and five grandchildren. I homeschooled my kids through high school and taught classes to all ages. In my spare time, I like to garden, read, crochet, scrapbook and play with my granddaughter. Besides homeschooling my kids, I have also tutored students. I am a retired RN. I have experience working in physical rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and the financial side of health care. I have worked with elderly adults with dementia including Alzheimer. I have also been a major part of using therapy techniques with my granddaughter who was diagnosed with autism. My skills include providing emotional and physical support, tutoring and engaging children in activities.
