Experience: 10 yrs
I am a mom of two adult children ages 25 and 27. My years of experience include being a nanny, virtually teaching students in grades pre-k - grade 2, Title1 Interventionist for grades K-6, Kindergarten Teacher, 1st Grade Teacher, Special Education Ed Tech, TA in various grades, Life Skills Support Teacher, Pre-School Teacher, Daycare Worker with infants and toddlers, and various long term substitute positions at the elementary level. I have a love for teaching and being a nanny. I enjoy helping children get excited about their studies. Some of my qualities include compassion, empathy caring, nurturing and positivity. I believe to be a good teacher, you need to teach to your students. I am structured but also flexible. When teaching, I figure out how each child learns best and teach to them individually. I teach to their strengths. As a nanny, I provide engaging activities for all ages. I can provide great references.

We are so grateful Sue came into our lives. For 1.5 years she was our full-time nanny & she is an A-Player. As a first time Mom, she taught me so many things from explaining to me that my baby was wheezing (I had no idea & found out she was right after we headed to the doctor) to new eating methods and better “toddler sleeping” ideas. Her previous experience as a teacher always came in handy as she “curated an art museum” with my little guy to surprise Mom & Dad (too cute - he was SO proud), or helped him learn his letters & numbers. She was always on time, dependable, willing to work extra hours when my husband & I had work crunches, and even covered for some date nights. We only parted ways because my family has started spending more time in CA. Yet we spent so much time together that “Sue Sue” will always be considered extended family to us. She is a joy, a blessing & a wonderful nanny & friend!
